I'm Lynn Grillo, and I am currently in Act III of my professional life. I started as a dancer/choreographer in my 20s, moved to technology in my 40s and now devote my time to working with charities. Dance for the Cure isa 100% volunteer-based 501(c)3 not for profit organization that distributes monetary gifts to women in financial distress due to a breast cancer diagnosis. As the Media Director, my job is to spread the word about DFC through as many channels as possible: the web, social media, print materials, newsletters, and networking.
BW NICE – Business Women Networking Involving Charity & Education is a female empowerment organization dedicated to helping women achieve their potential while working to fight against domestic violence and sexual abuse. We partner with local charities to provide help for women, men and families impacted by domestic and sexual violence.
I began gardening in the spring of 2020 when the world was in lockdown due to the pandemic. I learned how to garden by using the GrowVeg videos which led me to the Garden Planner. Below is my review which was featured on the Almanac website.

Rutgers Master Gardeners of Mercer County educate the community about research-based horticulture and gardening practices. I completed the course in December 2022 and was certified in 2023. I am a member of the Garden Symposium committee and chair of the Symposium Books Sub-committee.
The West Trenton Garden Club was established in 1953 to share the love of gardening, the principles of flower design, and to encourage civic improvement. I joined in 2023 and design the monthly newsletter alongside long-time editor, Jeff Tryon.
According to the USDA, Winter Sowing is defined as: “A propagation method used throughout the winter where temperate climate seeds are sown into protective vented containers and placed outdoors to foster a naturally timed, high percentage germination of climate tolerant seedlings,” which is a fancy way of saying "put seeds in jugs and leave them outside until they grow!" The best Winter Sowing resource is a facebook group is run by Sheryl Mann.
